Gusar to Supply Structural Steel to Amur Natural Gas Refinery

By the end of the year, the freight forwarder Gusar plans to transport 8,000 tons of structural steel to the construction site of Amur Natural Gas Refinery (a PJSC Gazprom operation) in the vicinity of the town of Svobodny in Amur Region. The design annual capacity of the refinery is 42 billion cubic meters of natural gas. It will be the largest in Russia and one of the world's largest natural gas refineries, as well as an important link in the process chain of future natural gas exports to China via the Sila Sibiri pipeline.
"We plan to employ roughly 400 vehicles to transport the structural steel to Amur Natural Gas Refinery," commented Mr. Sergey Berezkin, the freight forwarder’s CEO. “The transportation is planned in several stages, and part of the scope has already been shipped this June. We are exactly on schedule. This is not the first time we are handling this type of cargo, and we are convinced that the entire scope will be delivered to the customer on time and undamaged.”
The freight forwarder Gusar is a member of Gusar Group and is the Group’s official carrier. The company transports regular and oversized cargo, oil and gas equipment, structural steel, and other types of freight. Gusar owns and leases more than 300 road trains and 30 escort vehicles. 97% of all cargo handled by Gusar is intended for the oil and gas industry. The company’s transportation network covers currently almost all regions of Russia and continues to expand to offer its customers a high level of logistics services.
